We are an organisation that, since 2017, has raised funds to support those with mental health and suicidal tendencies pay for much needed psychological appointments. We aid and assist in the finding and funding of appointments with psychiatrist or psychologists.
Jacalyn Loise Williams, aka Rockit, was born on the 15th of November 1990. She was a highly respected disability support worker, animal lover, avid pole dancer and instructor but most of all she was a daughter, a sister, puppy mumma to Radar and Beamer and a friend to so many.
On September 28th 2017 Jacalyn took her own life, she was battling silently, awaiting a much needed psychiatric appointment that she never made. She was a kind, selfless, fun, energetic young woman with the world at her fingertips. Jacalyn was gone too soon. We honour her and others like her, dedicating this foundation to supporting those battling silently and loudly.
Every March The Rockit Foundation hosts its pole dancing gala which raises over $10,000. Held on Labour day long weekend in Toolamba, Victoria, at the Junction Hotel. Performers from all across Victoria dedicate their time and energy into creating a spectacular like none other.
